Transfer Cube Introduction
PowerOLAP's Transfer Cube feature would allow the following:
[1] Transfer data from one Cube to another Cube within the same database.
[2] Transfer data from an area of a Cube to another area of the same Cube.
[3] Clear out portions of a Cube, overwriting existing values with zeros.
With the help of this feature, users can save and even schedule Transfer Cube tasks. A transfer task can use multiple sources or user can define source in multiple ways to perform the task. By doing this, it allows user to create script or perform standard Transfer Cube operation.
Important
Within PowerOLAP®, user can transfer data within a single Cube,
making it both the source and destination. Or transfer of data can be
done from one Cube to another. Transfer cube can only be done 'within
a single database'.
To transfer data between Cubes and different databases see Internet
Data Services or IDS.
