Description:
This function returns the name of the current user in the current database. This function is designed specifically to allow you to view the user entity who is at present connected to the specified database. It is the name of the user who has currently opened an instance of the database, or who has currently established a connection to the database. The function takes as only one parameter, i.e.., the name of the database.
The function has the following syntax:
Syntax: OLAPCurrentUser (database)

The above formula returns a value = "Administrator" which signifies that for the database "Acuity" (B1), the user who is currently connected to it or has opened an instance in the modeler, this user is "Administrator".
The user "Administrator" exists in the database as a valid user with a password and the logon to the database is activated only when security for the database is enabled through checking the secure database check mark.
