In order to create transaction log reports, make sure that the Maintain
transaction log feature is enabled for the corresponding database.
PowerOLAP® included a feature that will enable users to generate log reports in a readable format. Bear in mind though that the generated report will only contain logs of the fact data changes.
To generate the transaction log report, follow the steps below:
1. Launch the PowerOLAP Service Control
Program, expand the particular server and select the corresponding database
(E.g. UsingPO).
Note: Make sure that the database is highlighted and that Maintain transaction
log option is enabled.

3. Select a cube (e.g., Future Year Model) and a user (e.g., username).
4. Specify the date range for which
you want to generate a report.
For example you want to generate a report from 1/22/2018 8:00:00 AM
to 1/22/2018 10:30:00 AM.
5. Browse for a location where you want your log report to be saved and specify a name (E.g. UsingPO log report) for your log report.
6. Back in the Export Transaction
log dialog, click OK.
If the log report was successfully created, you would get the following
message:

7. Click OK to close the message box.
The transaction log report will be saved in a text file format. Once you open the log report, you should be able to see all the fact data changes that occurred for the date range you have specified, as well as the user responsible for those changes.
