Now, working in the MDB Server you just installed, you can perform the following exercises, using the same procedures you used when you were working “locally”. The only difference is that these options are available in the Home Tab of the PowerOLAP Server ribbon (whereas when working in the PowerOLAP modeler, these options are accessible from the File icon).
[2] Open Database
[3] Close Database (Select the database, then click the Close Database icon from the Home tab)
[4] Save Database (Select the database, then click the Save Database icon from the Home tab)
[5] Save and Backup Database (Select
the database, then click the Save and Backup Database icon from
the Home tab.
This function is similar to Save Database command, the difference is that
this option will also create a backup of the database with the recently
committed changes. After clicking on this command, a Backup Folder containing
the .BAK file will be created in the same directory where your
corresponding PowerOLAP database is saved)
