This User Manual takes a different approach from the Olation Quick Start manual, which takes a user through a step-by-step example of building a Cube (one with all relational-table – based Dimensions, another with a customized/multidimensional Dimension). Although this User Manual covers some of the same topics, it delves deeper into the specific steps/screes that a user will encounter when creating or editing cubes. A recommended way to learn the product and what it offers, therefore, would be to read the next sections to become familiar with the concepts and benefits of Olation (see below)* and then the Quick Start manual to get “hands on.” Following that, a user will likely be more comfortable in this manual, beginning with the section Getting Familiar with the Work Area.
