Save Slice   Save Slice As

The Cube name is indicated in the title bar, but a Slice is untitled because it is unsaved. Once you have arranged the view you want, you can give the Slice a name and save it using the Save Slice As or Save Slice command.

 

 

For practice, we will save the example Slice, as follows:

 

1.   In the PowerOLAP ribbon, select Slice tab, Save Slice command (or Save Slice As command) to save the new Slice. The following Save Slice As dialog box is displayed.

2.   Enter the name <Sales Account by Month>, as above, and click OK.

The new Slice will remain open after it has been saved.
