The Remove Expired Locks and Login Records feature of the Synchronization server, as the name implies, basically removes expired locks and login user records.
How to remove Expired Locks and Login Records in Synchronization Server
To begin, make sure a PowerOLAP database is open and Synchronization Server has been configured via the configuration options described in the previous topics.
1. From the PowerOLAP ribbon of the main application window, go to Tools tab and in the My Analysis control Group select Remove Expired Locks and Login Records command.

2. A message box indicating the number
of metalock and/or login records that were removed appears. Click OK.
Databases will be synchronized according to the time interval set.
