The Update Linked Cube function allows you to update the PowerOLAP cube with any new Meta Data and Fact Data changes that were made to the ”provider” Cube (e.g., an MS Analysis Services Cube).
1. From the PowerOLAP ribbon, go to the Tools tab and in the PowerOLAP Services control group select the Update Linked Cube command.
The Update Cube dialog box appears:

The dialog box lists the Cubes that were created as a linked Cube.
2. Select the Cube(s) to rebuild (e.g., Budget) and click OK.
Note that this action deletes all existing Members from the current Cube and rebuilds them from the OLE DB for OLAP – compliant source Cube, including all Meta Data and associated Fact Data.
