Update the Fact Data of Local Cube from Remote Cube

To Update Fact data of the local cube:

1.   From the PowerOLAP ribbon, go to Data tab then in the Data Transfer control group select Internet Data Services command. This will access the Internet Data Services window.

2.   Select an IDS task. In this instance, select the Canada Exchange Rate Update task.

3.   Click Execute.
A message box will appear after the execution of the query to indicate that the Internet Data Services Update was completed successfully.

4.   Click OK.

5.   Click Done to close the IDS window.

To check results, go back to view the Slice in PowerOLAP and Recalculate the Slice.
